DIRECTIONS / MAP

MAP TO: "579
Eds Lake Rd; LaFayette, GA 30728"
NOTE: At the Google Map, it erroneously
identifies this lake as the "LaFayette Reservoir". This is NOT the
Reservoir, which is a 600 acre lake just south of the property.
(The above Google Map
Link, guides you to a custom map that shows the general outlines of the
property. Use your zoom controls to pan out to get a better idea of the
specific area; and remember you can also
get printed Directions by using the "Driving Directions" feature that
Google
provides, although calling the owner for specifics is recommended.)
Aerial
Photography is available at above Map,
however we've stripped out some photos from Google Earth below, and marked
them up to help you better understand the property.

Aerial Photos & Discussion: |
|
This 1st photo below shows the entire property
with a boundary overlay.
When you compare the
photos we've shown you at the main page, just from around the lower half of
the main lake, you can begin to imagine the vast size of the property.
Ideally, the owner would just sell off everything to the left of the lake
(including 1/2 the lake), and keep 1/2 the lake and the right hand lands
for himself. |
 |
|
Below is a clearer picture - but without border overlay. |
 |
|
Below is a zoom in to the main lake. |
 |
Below is a zoom of the Cleared Peninsula with the existing
home.
This is where most of the photos were taken from. |
 |
|
Next aireal photos show zooms of the Causeway, which splits
the Main Lake (Large culvert pipes underneath feed through).
The 2nd picture down shows a zoom of the Main Lake, and also the 2nd smaller
4+/- acre lake on the property. The large field you see in the 2nd photo
is actually part of a grassy airfield landing strip that the previous owner
had graded in for his airplane. You can see in this 1st photo the clear
detail of some of the inner roadways in the property. |
 |
 |
|
Below is an overlay without aireal photography, so you can
see lakes (2) and tributary streams better. |
 |
|
Below we've edited out the
surrounding lands - so that you can get a better feel for the shape of the
property. |

Last Aireal Photography Note
(from David, TheMountainsVoice website proprietor):
I spent about a day online creating a custom aireal map for Bob's property.
What I did was zoom in on sections of the property, copy the images, and then
merge them all together onto a single webpage. It's a huge file, and
because it eats up so much bandwidth, I'm not publishing it to the general
public. But I can send an email link to anyone who has serious interest
in the property. If you think you might seriously be interested in part
or all of Bob's property, send me an email request, and I will shoot you a
link to the page, and instructions on how to view it. It allows you to
scroll over the property, and see details like the few zoom aireal sections I
provided above - but over the entire property.
