Beautiful White County - "Gateway to the Mountains"

This 14.5 acre tract of land is located in beautiful White County. Could be used for development, for your own private estate, or vacation home. Plenty of level building lots on the ridge that would give you fantastic views.

Following are some of the highlights & features of this property:

  • Scenic Views to enjoy year round and some seasonal views
  • Small Creek - steady flow
  • 60+ ft of road frontage on private county maintained road
  • Possible development potential for multi residences.
  • Would make a perfect Estate property.
  • Private, but just minutes to town, and easy access to 400.  Dahlonega & Helen are very close as well.  White county schools.
  • Price has been greatly decreased to reflect the current market conditions.

Photos below are representative.  Detailed "Tour" descriptions are peppered in with the photos.  Document links are at the very bottom of page.

Below are 15 Large Photos

First picture below is from the road entrance from Asbury Mill Road.  At the powerline that stretches over the drive about 50 yards down the property line begins to angle left.  The gravel drive actually continues up to the right to a private residence on it's own tract.  This entry is 60' wide, and meets minimum requirement for creating a subdivision entry in the event someone wanted to develop the property.  The property consists of that entire rigeline you see across the top of the below photo, and stretches left & right out of sight of the photo.   2nd picture down is looking back at the road.

In the photo below, the natural entry begins to curve off to the left into the grass.  There's actually a graded area that heads off left and then is pipe/culverted across the creek - to bring you into the main portion of the property.

Below you are making the curve off the gravel road.  Property begins bottlenecking outwards (left & right) straight ahead.

About to pass over the culvert / stream.  Again, that's the beginning of the bulk of the lower portion of the property ahead.

Below we're standing on culvert - here's another view slightly to the right. The creek (on right) is the property line.  That's the neighbor property off to the right below (that connects from gravel drive as it continues)
Below are a couple of closeups of the creek.  Nothing spectacular - but a steady flow, good water supply.
Below is a good picture looking over the creek into part of the main bulk of the central property.  When it gets to the top, it levels off and runs along a ridge left and right.
If you follow the above ridgetop to the right, you end up at a powercut (see plat).  Below I have walked out into the clearing, turned around and shot back into the woods.  The top of that ridgeline is very level as you can see - perfect for a ridgeline development, or offers a lot of usable land in an estate property.
Below we turn around:  across the power cut the land continues for a bit - again, very level / usable. (reference the size of that area via the attached plat map)
Below is a good view taken of the property (along powercut) from a distance - off the property.  The propertyline as seen in this photo begins down towards the bottom of that dip (and contains the upstream portion of the creek we saw back by the entrance).  The property continues up to the ridge you see ahead, and continues level just over the top & out of sight.
Many good building sites on this property. Some are level and others are rolling.  Relatively gentle land, but high enough on the ridge to get the views you are about to see below.
I'll end with some great views!  Clear out a Home site(s) just about anywhere on the top ridge portion of the property, and below is what you are going to get.
