AMENITIES - Swim Club
The Big Canoe Swim Club at Lake Disharoon is the most
popular place in Big Canoe during the summer months! It has the main
pool, a white-sand beach, a manmade rockslide (a favorite of the kids!),
beach volleyball, beachside cookout grills, a poolside picnic and grill area,
beachside boardwalk & lounge chair area, a walkout lakeside dock, roped
children's swim area in the lake, loads of lounge chairs and spacious covered
shade umbrellas, a Snack/Lunch Bar, canoes and paddleboats, expansive
view/lounging/picnic decks, and the Swim Club Lodge, which hosts many Big
Canoe Club Activities - including organized music and dances on the decks, art
shows and more... It is of note that both the Swim Club Pool, and the
neighboring Indoor Pool at the Fitness Center are both Saline-Based filtration
systems - so no annoying chlorine. The Swim Club is located in the Fitness
Center parking complex. The following photo shoot was
begun during the Winter Months. You will have to use your imagination -
and fill the pictures with families, children, greenery, lounge chairs,
umbrellas, and Clean Sparkling Sand - because every springtime they do clean
the beaches and add new sand.
