AMENITIES - North Security Gate
Located approximately 4 miles from the Foothills
Shopping Center, the North Gate is also known as the "Construction Gate",
because all construction traffic must pass into Big Canoe through this
entrance. It is also
the site of Big Canoe's central Trash & Waste Disposal facilities. It is within
several hundred yards of the Wildcat Recreation Center, which is also where
Big Canoe has a central "Bus Stop" and pickup/drop-off point for Dawson &
Pickens County School Transportation. Located a few hundred
yards from this entrance is the Dawson County Fire Station / EMC Center - which currently services the entirety of Big Canoe.
