Coosawattee River Resort is a Gated Community in North Georgia, approximately 8 miles from the historic Ellijay town square.  The community encompasses approximately 8500 acres, with 9 miles of the Coosawatttee River running through the center, surrounded by the pristine beauty of the forests & mountains.  Homes & Lots are available with Forest, River/Creek, and high Mountaintop views. There is also an RV Park offering 1/10 to 1/4 acre RV Lots.

This resort not only offers a certain lifestyle, but also many amenities your family will be sure to enjoy. Tennis, Indoor & Outdoor pools, Fishing Lake, Rafting & Tubing, Canoeing, Fitness & Recreation Center, Library, Gated Security Entrances, Campgrounds, a Teen Center, a wide variety of Member Clubs & Organizations,  and miles of Hiking Trails are almost all Free Amenities that are included in your Very Low Property Owner fee of $350 annually.  These Annual fees also cover all infrastructure within the community, including nearly 300 miles of interior roadways.  A huge Equestrian Center borders the community and is available to community members.
