30 Acres of Gorgeous Mountain Seclusion with a huge rushing Creek nestled in the
Valley! At the combined price / land features offering - this might be
the best land value we have at our entire website. Owner will even Finance!
Following are some of the highlights & features of the home:
(Photos are
below the text sections)
- Three Road Frontage Access Points, with 2 beautiful building spots on
the Creek, and one High Building Spot.
- THE CREEK: Blackwell Creek begins
its journey in nearby Big Canoe, then flows into and through Cove Lake, and
then leads down through this property. This is a huge creek. Very
wide, with fast moving water, and many rapids sections and scenic rock
outcroppings and mini-waterfall areas. As you will see from the photos
below, it could almost be classified as a River because of it's large size.
- THE LAND: The property is very
secluded. Along the creek you have several large level areas,
partially cleared that would make great building sites. One has an old
cabin that if fixed up would make a perfect camping spot for just weekend
retreats with the family / kids. Ringing the entire creek valley are
high mountain slopes that offer not only complete privacy from the outside
world, but also some good building sites on the mid and upper slopes.
One road has been cut that runs from the high slopes and winds down to a
fork that splits left and right leading to separate creek side clearings.
At that fork, another perfect spot entry exists leading out to another
roadway access point. So if this were ever subdivided, each home site
could have separate entries, or shared access central roadway.
- THE VEGETATION: Lots of hardwoods
high up with some scattered old growth pines mixed in for year round
greenery. Laurels are all over the property. Valley has plenty
of beautiful evergreen hemlocks.
- EXTRAS: The Setting is pretty awesome. Private,
Peaceful, very
Natural. Lots of useable land. Perhaps the most amazing feature is how
quickly you become immersed in the solitude. Just several hundred yard
away is Hwy 53 for easy access, but once you are in the property, the
natural lay of the land, and the loud rushing creek just transport you into
a different world, and you forget how close you are to civilization.
You feel as if you could be in the middle of nowhere - miles from anything
but the natural surrounding. It's one of those "You gotta be there to
experience it" setting!
- We have a detailed and visual Locator Map Link at bottom of page.
- 3+/- minutes from the Foothills Shopping Center complex that services
the communities of Marble Hill and Big Canoe. 20 minutes to
Dawsonville / 400. 15 minutes to Jasper. 30+/- minutes to
Alpharetta / Roswell / Canton. About an hour+ to downtown Atlanta.
Pack a
picnic and sit a spell by the Creek. You won't want to leave!

Below
are 52
Photos Representing the our Photo Tour of the Property as we start at one end,
and walk the entire creek valley and interior roads. Below is an Aerial Photo showing highlights of the
property. We begin at point "A" and follow the purple line through the
property. |
|
. |
 |
|
Lets start with some visual explanations of the aerial
photo above. All three roads shown connect directly to Hwy 53. The
top left winding property line - that is the centerline of the creek all the
way.
Point A is where we start our
walking photo tour (begins below). It is at the beginning
of an easement road off of TimberCreek Rd. It runs all the way to the
top of the property to Point B,
then down a steep hill into the river valley. Point
B is a lovely secluded
potential home site. We follow the trail to Point
C at the bend of the creek
which is a Huge Scenic Stone Cliff outcropping. After passing the
Cliffs, it is a level creek side meadow / forest to Point
D, which is a huge level creek
side clearing - a fantastic building site. Main entry access to this
site would be up a road to Point F
(a central 4 points internal road intersection). But we
continue our photo tour along the creek edge to point
E. We pass huge scenic
Rock Face Cliffs, walk through Boulder Parks, and the scenery is just lovely.
Point E is the 2nd Major
Building Site - another great level meadow area / forest area by creek side.
Then we walk up the main access road to point
F. Point
F is atop a high rock cliff
and roads to both D &
E building sites feeds from
there, as well as a cleared trail up to point
H (which we don't tour)
that allows main road access crossing Chastain Court. We leave
F and travel up the internal
road to Point G, where we end
the tour at the High Building Site, with great mountain views and road access
on Dell Moore Rd.. There are a couple of other good High Building Sites
- just south and east of point F,
but G, E &
D are definitely the Prime Build Sites.
Let's Begin the
Tour! Below we travel along the Timber Creek Entry Rd. We take the left
hand fork below. |
 |
 |
|
As we pan left off the road, that's "Point H" up towards Chastain Court
above. Below we continue on the easement road. Do you see the
Telephone pole at right in below photo? That is where we pass into the
property. Everything to the left of that pole is on the property, including up
the hill. |
 |
|
Below is the dog leg right turn in road, and then the approach down towards
Point B. |
 |
 |
|
Below we are at top end of road, looking down at creek valley. We'll
walk down that hill and show a few photos of that area. |
 |
 |
 |
 |
 |
|
Next 2 photos we are at the lower far side of Point B, looking back from
where we came. This would make a beautiful little walk out basement home
site - built into the hill side, and above flood plain, with your own
incredibly private Nature Valley!. |
 |
 |
|
The water here was high after a good rain. I actually think it is
prettier when it is at normal flow - crystal clear, and you can see the rocks,
etc... |
 |
|
Above is the 1st bend in river - Point C. Huge Cliffs over the river,
another picture of those below. Its actually much higher, larger and
more impressive than this photo indicates. |
 |
|
Below we've walked across the lower edge of the Cliffs (yes there is
a clean walking trail connection underneath) and photographed back the
way we came - towards Point B. |
 |
|
Okay, now as we clear the "Cliffs, we enter into the level paths and
mini-clearings leading to Point D (a primary creek side Building site). |
 |
 |
|
Creek is just to the right in above picture. We take that little
trail over the log, and end up below, at the edge of the Point D Building Site
Meadows. |
 |
|
Lets continue the
tour on Page 2, where we show this entire meadow section.

Subdivide Details -
Owner will split the property any way that makes sense.
Probably nothing much smaller than 10 acres though.
You just come look, and if you see a part that makes sense to split off,
then you've got something to talk about.
