  • Property has over 1000 feet of road frontage on Hidden Creek Circle
  • Selective timbering was recently done to open up the views, and to establish an internal roadway / drive network.
  • Upon entering the property at main drive entrance, there is a lower field area that has been cleared, and will eventually be established as meadows.  The main internal road runs along the length ofthe property, winding in and out in a loop around a central "Nature Valley" area with untouched woodland, creek & spring.  2 High ridges offer stunning panoramic mountain views, and these have really been enhanced by the recent clearing.

COMMUNITY:  Home is located a few miles from the Twin Cities of Copperhill TN & McCaysville GA, and is just a few miles north of the Tennessee / Georgia line.  The Ocoee River Center is just a few miles north.  The entire area is very rural & peaceful, filled with Mountain Scenery, with lots of outdoor river activities.  The 1996 Olympics hosted their whitewater venues here.  The lake that feeds the Ocoee River at the head of the Whitewater Center is just a mile away.

Below is the main entrance to the property on right hand fork.
The property has road frontage for over 1000' past the entrance.
The interior has been semi-cleared and a road/drive network put in.

Immediately upon entering the drive is the above clearing.  As mentioned earlier, the property was selectively timbered to open up the views and establish an interior road network.  The owner is currently still working on cleaning up the leftover debris, as the work was just completed in Spring of 2010, a couple of months prior to photography.  To left we pan to the left of the above photo, and show the interior road as it continues into the property paralleling Hidden Creek Circle.  Just around that bend is a fork.  The road continues along edge of the property (shown below).  But we are going to head up the right hand fork starting 2 pictures down to the 1st high ridgeline.

Above 3 pictures we are of rolling ridgeline which runs what I am guessing is 1.5 - 2 football fields long..  It is a long, broad, area with lots of level spots & 360 degree long range mountain views.  It is very useable land area.  Below we show a variety of views from this area.  Pictures were taken on 2 different days - neither being ideal for viewing conditions.  Real life views are much more crisp & spectacular.
During Winter, when the leaves are off the trees, the views just get absolutely stunning.  Additional Vista Pruning (the selective thinning of trees and branches) would greatly enhance these views, but the selective timbering already done has really created a marvelous setting.  As mentioned earlier, the owner is actively cleaning up and clearing out leftover debris.
Below we are going to head back down to the fork, continue back along the road to the lower woodland Spring & Creek area.
As we round the far corner in picture above the road cuts back across the interior of property in a loop.  Below right we have taken the curve and are heading down to the creek/spring woodland area.  Below left is a picture across that little valley, and if you look close enough in the distance you'll see the road clearing across the creek valley.

At left I have made the turn and am across the valley, looking back down the way I came.  At the point where the car is are trails leading into what I refer to as "Nature Valley".  It was left completely untouched and unspoiled - with Spring & Creek.

Below is the road ahead that leads up to the 2nd ridge, which is up on the right.  It has great views as well, but we stopped here during the photography because the sky fell out and it started pouring rain.

Below are a few pictures of the central creek valley woodland / spring / creek. (Nature Valley)
Below is the Natural Spring and small creek that flows out of it.
Several Walking trails / 4 Wheeler paths throughout this area.

To the left is a spring time photo from the owners.  The whole property is filled with Laurels & Rhododendrons that blossom profusely.  Owners went to great lengths to protect them during the selective clearing.  Now that the property is opened up a little, they should really flourish with the increased light.
